Objectives:
- the pupils should be able to know the stages of a frog life cycle
- should be able to remember the names of the stages.
Resource and material:
- huge picture of a frog
- real frog
- real frog and tadpole in a small tank
Introduction | - Set induction: - Show a big picture of a frog. - Ask the pupils to raise their hands up for those who know the answer - Then praise the pupils who got the answer right |
Presentation | - Review last lesson with the pupils briefly - Introduce lesson - Show the worksheet to the pupils - Go through the worksheet with them - Show them how the cycle of the frog’s life is (step by step) - Gather the pupils around - Bring in a real life frog in to the lesson for the pupils to see it as their first hand experience - Show them the tadpoles in a small tank. - During the demonstration, ask the students what they see and ask questions about the stages the tadpoles and the frog are. - Ask them to back to their seats |
